About the role
PT Satyaraya Keramindoindah is seeking a dedicated Staff Perkebunan dan Pembibitan to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Tangerang, Banten. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our plantation and nursery operations, contributing directly to the productivity and sustainability of our agricultural initiatives. Your work will be essential in maintaining high standards of crop quality, implementing best practices in plant cultivation, and ensuring efficient nursery management to support our company's growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily plantation operations including land preparation, planting, cultivation, and harvesting activities
• Monitor crop health and implement pest and disease management strategies to ensure optimal plant growth
• Manage nursery operations including seed selection, propagation, and seedling development
• Conduct regular field inspections and maintain detailed records of plantation performance and nursery activities
• Supervise and coordinate with plantation staff and labourers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely
• Apply fertilisers, irrigation, and other inputs according to established protocols and schedules
• Identify and address operational challenges such as soil quality issues, water management, and resource constraints
• Prepare reports on plantation productivity, nursery performance, and recommendations for improvement
• Ensure compliance with agricultural best practices and safety standards in all operations
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for increasing yield and quality

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field
• Fresh graduate or Minimum 1-2 years of experience in plantation management, nursery operations, or similar agricultural roles
• Strong knowledge of crop cultivation techniques, plant propagation, and nursery management practices
• Experience with pest and disease identification and management in plantation settings
• Proficiency in operating agricultural equipment and tools used in plantation and nursery work
• Solid understanding of soil preparation, irrigation systems, and fertiliser application
• Ability to maintain accurate records and produce clear written reports
• Strong supervisory and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with staff and labourers
• Physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Knowledge of local agricultural regulations and compliance requirements
• Preferred experience with sustainable and organic farming practices
