Position Overview
The Senior Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for ensuring that all company applications, systems, and digital services meet the highest standards of quality, security, functionality, performance, and business requirements before deployment to the production environment.
This role serves as a strategic partner to the Product, Engineering, Business Analysis, Information Security, DevOps, Risk Management, and Compliance teams by maintaining software quality through structured, well-documented, and risk-oriented testing processes throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive Test Strategies, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and test documentation based on Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Product Requirement Documents (PRD), and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
• Execute various software testing activities, including Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, Smoke Testing, Sanity Testing, End-to-End Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify, analyze, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution while ensuring timely follow-up with development teams.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, UI/UX, DevOps, Information Security, Risk Management, and Compliance teams to ensure product quality aligns with business requirements and organizational standards.
• Validate new features, product enhancements, and system changes to ensure compliance with functional requirements and quality standards.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or equivalent platforms, and validate application data using SQL queries when required.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of test automation frameworks and recommend enhancements to Quality Assurance processes.
• Ensure all Quality Assurance activities and testing evidence are properly documented to support internal and external audit requirements.
• Contribute to improving the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by providing recommendations that enhance software quality, development efficiency, and operational risk mitigation.
• Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement and Quality Excellence across the technology organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing. Experience in a senior-level QA role is preferred.
• Previous experience within Financial Technology (FinTech), Digital Banking, Capital Markets, Cryptocurrency Exchange, Digital Asset Platforms, Payment Systems, or other highly regulated industries is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Agile methodologies, and the Scrum Framework.
• Proven ability to develop comprehensive and well-structured testing documentation.
• Solid understanding of both manual and automated software testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar platforms.
• Experience with API Testing, SQL queries, and a basic understanding of Microservices Architecture.
• Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as ISTQB Foundation Level or other internationally recognized Quality Assurance certifications.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar technologies.
• Basic knowledge of Performance Testing using Apache JMeter or equivalent tools.
• Understanding of Application Security Testing principles and the OWASP Top 10.
• Previous experience working in organizations certified under ISO 27001, ISO 9001, or other recognized IT governance and information security standards.
