TAX SUPERVISOR (F&B)

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including income tax, value-added tax (VAT), and withholding tax obligations for the F&B business unit
• Supervise and coordinate the work of tax accounting staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness of tax compliance deliverables
• Monitor changes in Indonesian tax legislation and regulations, and assess their impact on our operations and tax position
• Manage tax reconciliations and ensure all tax payments are processed accurately and within statutory deadlines
• Prepare detailed tax analysis and reports for management, highlighting tax risks, opportunities and recommendations
• Liaise with external tax advisors and government tax authorities regarding tax audits, enquiries and disputes
• Develop and maintain tax policies, procedures and documentation to support compliance and internal audit requirements
• Review and approve tax-related journal entries and ensure proper coding and documentation of all tax transactions
• Support budget forecasting and financial planning by providing accurate tax provision calculations
• Maintain comprehensive tax records and documentation to support audit trails and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field
• Minimum 2 years' professional experience in taxation, ideally within an F&B or hospitality environment
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, including income tax, VAT, personal income tax (PPh), and corporate taxation requirements
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to manage and develop junior tax staff
• Excellent understanding of tax compliance processes and accounting systems integration
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for tax analysis and reporting
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
