As part of our business expansion in Batam, PT Nobel Riggindo Samudra is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to strengthen our commercial team and support our continued growth in serving customers across the industrial sector.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide product knowledge and technical consultation to customers.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or solutions.
• Identify, develop, and maintain a database of potential customers.
• Introduce the company's products and services to prospective clients.
• Prepare and present quotations in accordance with company policies.
• Follow up on quotations, Purchase Orders (PO), Sales Orders (SO), and product deliveries.
• Conduct price negotiations within the approved company guidelines.
• Monitor customer payments and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Handle, investigate, and monitor customer complaints until resolution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits and maintain strong business relationships, including outside normal working hours when required.
• Distribute and consolidate customer satisfaction surveys.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Engineering, Business, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Sales, Technical Sales, Account Management, or a similar B2B commercial role.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas, Lifting & Rigging, Mining, Heavy Equipment, Industrial Equipment, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, customer relationship management, and commercial negotiations.
• Excellent communication, customer needs analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work toward sales targets and prepare accurate sales reports.
• Comfortable conducting customer visits and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Professional attitude with a strong customer-oriented mindset.
• Willing to be based in Batam and travel as required for business purposes.
