Project Cost Control Specialist

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Project Cost Control professional to support project financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, cost monitoring, and reporting. In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure project costs remain within budget while providing accurate financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

Job Description:

• Monitor and control project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets and financial targets.
• Prepare and analyze project financial reports, including budget vs. actual performance, cash flow, forecasts, and project P&L.
• Manage project-related transactions in SAP, including Purchase Requests (PR), budget inputs, and material cost adjustments.
• Support project budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning activities in collaboration with Project Managers and cross-functional teams.
• Review invoices, project expenses, and financial documents to ensure accuracy and cost efficiency.
• Monitor project cash flow and payment schedules between customers and vendors.
• Prepare periodic cost reports and provide insights, recommendations, and financial analytics to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cost Control, Project Finance, Budgeting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and has experience with SAP system
• Ability to conduct cost analysis to identify areas of improvement
• Strong analytical, communication, planning, and organizational skills, with experience supporting project-based operations preferred.
