Job Overview:
The Guidance Counselor is responsible for designing and delivering a comprehensive guidance and counseling program that supports students in their academic, personal, social, and professional development. The role involves direct counseling services, proactive retention strategies, student formation programs, and collaboration with parents, faculty, and external agencies to ensure students' overall well-being and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement student-centered guidance and counseling plans and programs that address academic, vocational, and personal-social needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to assist students in goal setting, academic challenges, personal issues, and social development.
• Administer, interpret, and evaluate psychometric tests for students, parents, and staff; ensure proper validation and documentation of results.
• Conduct initial interviews and conferences with students, parents, and staff for case assessment and intervention planning.
• Design and implement retention and advising programs to help students stay in school, including targeted support for at-risk students.
• Facilitate and organize educational, career, and personal development programs such as mental health awareness, stress management, and life skills training.
• Monitor academic performance, attendance, and behavior of at-risk students; initiate timely interventions and referrals to specialists as needed.
• Coordinate with government agencies, organizations, and individuals to support student scholarship programs and special cases requiring external assistance.
• Support and mentor scholars through regular formation activities and program monitoring.
• Participate in orientation programs, student testing, and the processing of permits as needed.
• Develop and maintain accurate and confidential student records and reports.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure coordinated student support.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of counseling and retention programs; provide regular accomplishment and progress reports to the CSDL Head.
• Participate in institution-wide programs, events, and accreditation processes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the CSDL Head, Supervisor, or Chief Operations Officer.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Education, or related behavioral science fields.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in guidance counseling, student advising, or related fields in an academic setting.
• Demonstrated ability to counsel and interact effectively with students of diverse backgrounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and basic data management.
