General Ledger Accountant & Tax
Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger & Daily Accounting
- Review and post journal entries accurately and on time.
- Maintain the General Ledger for multiple group companies.
- Review payment requests to ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Monitor and reconcile daily bank transactions and account balances.
Month-End Closing & Financial Reporting
- Complete month-end closing within the established timeline.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including:
- Balance Sheet
- Profit & Loss Statement
- Cash Flow Statement
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Analyze budget versus actual performance.
- Review Accounts Receivable aging and collection status.
Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
- Monitor customer receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
- Manage supplier payments and ensure timely settlement.
- Issue sales invoices and tax invoices using Accurate Accounting Software.
- Maintain daily sales and outstanding receivable reports.
Tax Support
- Prepare accounting data required for monthly tax reporting.
- Support Corporate Income Tax (SPT Badan) preparation.
- Reconcile accounting records with tax filings.
- Coordinate with the tax team to ensure regulatory compliance.
Internal Control & System Administration
- Implement internal control procedures and ensure proper documentation.
- Maintain and optimize the Accurate Accounting System.
- Archive monthly electronic bank statements.
- Support BPJS administration and contribution calculations.
- Manage company stamp duty (Materai) records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Accounting or General Ledger.
- Experience managing accounting for multiple entities is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian Accounting Standards (PSAK/SAK) and familiarity with IFRS.
- Proficient in Accurate Accounting Software (mandatory).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
- Good understanding of Indonesian taxation (PPh, PPN, BPJS).
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (mandatory). Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, highly responsible, and able to work under month-end closing deadlines.
- Brevet A/B certification, experience in multinational/PMA companies, and familiarity with the Coretax system will be considered an advantage.
