Job Responsibilities of Commercial & Business Development Officer

• Performing business plan modelling, financial assessment and valuation of identified new opportunities, in close collaboration with a multi-functional team.
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on tenders, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance
• Following the start / integration of new companies created or acquired, in close collaboration with local and regional teams.
• Conduct thorough analysis of current business operations to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Propose improvement initiatives for Management review. Highlight key achievements, challenges, and recommendations for further enhancements.
• Implement initiatives to improve the quality of service provided to customers, collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Work with the Country Management in business development initiatives.
• Prepare the report to update management on periodic basis.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications of Commercial & Business Development Officer

• Holding at minimum a Diploma III (D-III) in Shipping, Maritime, Aviation, Transportation, IATA Diploma, FIATA Diploma, or bachelor’s degree (S-1) in Logistics, or a professional competency certificate in the field of freight forwarding or supply chain management, or a certificate of expertise in customs or port operations (alternatively or cumulatively) is a must.
• Experienced in Business Development min 5 years in logistic and freight forwarding.
• Excellent analytical skills, reporting and Excel modelling
• Strong interpersonal skills, problem solving, prioritization, proactive and teamwork with ability to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and efficiency at multi-tasking with adjustable priorities.
• Dynamic and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of Logistics/Depot/Transportation business principles and practices or have an experienced work in logistics company before.
• Good command of both written and spoken English.
• Significant experience in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment.
