Restaurant Operations & Inventory Coordinator
Katiet Beach Resort – Mentawai Islands

Work in a beautiful beachfront restaurant surrounded by tropical nature, world-class waves, and an international atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Operate the restaurant POS system and cashier.
• Manage daily inventory and stock control.
• Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase requests.
• Support smooth day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Deliver excellent guest service.

Additional responsibilities

• Process supplier deliveries and verify incoming stock.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.
• Prepare inventory and sales reports.
• Coordinate purchasing with the kitchen team to avoid stock shortages/overload.
• Monitor food, beverage, and operating supply costs.
• Ensure cashier reconciliation and accurate daily cash reports.
• Maintain organized inventory storage following FIFO standards.
• Assist with guest inquiries and reservations when needed.

Requirements:

• Ready to start in August.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
• Experience in restaurant, café, hotel, or hospitality operations.
• Familiar with POS systems and inventory management.
• Honest, organized, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Willing to relocate to Mentawai Islands.

Additional requirements

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and solve problems proactively.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Indonesian citizen.
• Able to ride a motorbike.
