About the role:
PT. TAT HONG BATAM is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Executive (Engineering) to join our dynamic construction management team. This is a contract position based in Batam, Kepulauan Riau, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing engineering aspects of construction projects from inception through completion. The Project Executive will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is integral to our project delivery success and offers the opportunity to work on significant construction initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee crane and heavy equipment mobilization, installation, operation, and demobilization activities at project sites.
• Ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client requirements and company standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, site teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any technical or operational issues.
• Monitor and manage project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including work plans, schedules, reports, and method statements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements at all stages of the project.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and certifications of equipment as required.
• Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and operational efficiency.
• Report project status and key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience managing projects in the heavy equipment, crane rental, or related engineering sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of crane operations, heavy equipment mobilization, lifting plans, and site engineering processes.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations (K3), lifting standards, and relevant industry practices.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• High commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform effectively under pressure.
