Product Sales Manager

Job Summary
The Product Sales Manager is responsible for managing product strategy, technical performance, and product quality of automotive tire products. This role acts as a key liaison between the Technical Department and the Commercial (Sales) Team while providing technical support, product training, and after-sales assistance to dealers, distributors, and customers. The successful candidate will also contribute to product development, quality improvement, and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement product strategies to achieve business objectives and market growth.
  • Manage the product development roadmap in collaboration with local and global teams.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Technical and Sales teams to ensure effective communication and alignment.
  • Conduct product quality analysis, including warranty claims, product returns, customer complaints, and failure investigations.
  • Analyze tire wear, vehicle performance, and product failures to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide technical support, product presentations, and training to dealers, distributors, sales teams, and customers.
  • Coordinate with global technical teams and principals regarding product improvements, technical issues, and quality standards.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to support product positioning and business development.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare technical reports, product evaluations, and recommendations for management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in Technical, Warranty, or Quality roles, preferably within the tire or automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of tire construction, product performance, tire testing, and wear & damage analysis.
  • Proven experience in handling product quality issues and warranty claims.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent presentation and training skills, with the ability to deliver technical information clearly and effectively.
  • Experience in preparing technical reports, documentation, and technical analyses.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of data analysis tools is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, if required.
