Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions, including monthly and annual financial reporting, in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage the company's cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Prepare financial analyses and management reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing, and payment of all tax obligations, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and withholding taxes, in accordance with applicable tax regulations.
- Review financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets, ensure data integrity, and minimize financial risks.
- Monitor budget utilization, evaluate financial performance, and recommend cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities during audits, inspections, and statutory reporting.
- Supervise, coach, and develop the Finance, Accounting, and Tax team to achieve departmental objectives and maintain high performance standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting processes, accounting systems, and internal procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support business operations and provide financial insights for organizational decision-making.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, and Tax, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting standards, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and taxation.
- Proven experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements, management reports, and tax filings.
- Solid understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and Withholding Taxes (Articles 21, 23, 26, and 4(2)).
- Experience in handling tax audits, financial audits, and coordinating with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, and experienced in using ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Accurate).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Brevet A & B certification is preferred; Brevet C will be an advantage.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
