3D Footwear and Pattern Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Work closely with management and production to create new product designs for new product development
• Assists production team to create technical drawings for tools and molds required for production
• Create and execute color 2D/3D CADS of design sketches/products for product development process, including Rhino and Blender
• Adjust and align product design details according to management requests
• Execute detailed and accurate specfication requirements for prototype mock up sampling
• Take careful notes on all product revisions
• Update all sketches and specs according to company requirements and product design planning
• Create full scale sketches as needed for prototype making

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree from Product Design/equivalent work experience.
• Min 3-5 years experience as a Product Designer, with a focus on footwear products. Experience in designing sandals specifically would be highly desirable.
• Proficient with the 2D/3D CAD Graphic Design Skills.
• Lead the design process from concept to production, which included sketching, 3D modelling, creating detailed AutoCAD drawings and developing prototypes.
• Able to select appropriate colors, fonts, and imagery to enhance the purpose of one design.
• Strong conceptual and creative thinking abilities to develop unique and visually appealing design concepts.
• Stay updated on industry trends in order to be able to continuously improve skills and techniques.
• Capable of working as a team, great attitude and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in footwear industry will be highly preferred
